Other than the day of coordinator, your photographers are one of the few vendors who will be there with you at least ten hours of your wedding day. From getting ready to your departure and grand exit, we’ll be there with you. 

Here’s why feeding your wedding photographers is vital

While we try to eat a pretty big hearty breakfast and/or brunch before we arrive, that doesn’t last as long as we’d like. Coupled with burning calories as we run around like mad women trying to cover the entire wedding without missing a beat, it’s no surprise we hardly have time for a snack or break. 

Because of this, I think it’s important for us to get a break to eat during the day. Our preference of course would be during the reception while everyone else is eating. Normally no one wants shots of themselves taking on huge bites of food anyway. 

If a meal is not provided, I ask for an hour to give us enough time to find a local place and chow down before we return to shooting. Although we’d much prefer to eat at the venue with whatever you all are eating. Most caterers provide vendor meals that don’t have to be plated, so inquire about that when you have the chance. 

Feeding your photographers conclusion

In conclusion, feeding your photographer ensures we’re able to perform and do our job without being on an empty stomach. Besides, who wants to go 10 to 12 hours of working without a single break for food. Save yourself the headache from us passing out during your reception and feed your photographers.

If you will not be providing food, let me know ahead of time so that we can make arrangements and plan accordingly.
