3 Things to Know About Your Houston Wedding & Portrait Photographer

When it comes to the pool of photographers available, there’s as many photographers as there are fish in the sea. And just like the ocean, there are considerable differences between each photographer. Today I’m sharing things you should know about your Houston portrait photographer, Niesha.

Beauty and boudoir sessions are incredibly intimate. For this reason, it’s important that you trust and vibe well with your photographer.

With that being said, I don’t want there to be any surprises to what you can expect when you’re around me (other than the fact that I’m blunt and curse like a sailor).

#1 I capture authenticity.

Who you are as a person is the absolute most important thing to me. Everything I do is centered around the concept of genuinity and authenticity. From the experience, to the products and who I am as a person is built on this concept of being who I am…no matter what. Subsequently, it’s not a shocker that it’d essentially become what I love to capture most about my clients.

#2 I’ll be your hype girl.

‘Til the day that I die. Like Robin and Batman, and Kid and Play –I’ll be your hype man (or woman, or girl). I’m that person during your session. The most common testimonial or review I ever receive, is that I help my clients feel comfortable around me. You’re gonna need a cheerleader and I’m your girl for that.

#3 I embrace perfect flaws because that’s what makes us perfect

So I have a gap space between my two front teeth. As a kid, I always thought it was something to be embarrassed and ashamed about. It wasn’t until I’d gotten braces as a teenager, and the gap space had completely closed that I realized how this so-called “ flaw” was so perfect to me. I grew an appreciation for a family trait that nearly every single individual in my family possessed. In fact, I even stopped wearing my retainers and let my space reconvene because I thought it was so beautiful. My sons now have a gap space between their teeth and I am so happy I made the decision to let mine be.
